Full Size Click the Image ———————————————— Rather large image (Though it’s certainly no where near as large as the ‘ref sheets’ I do for these guys) I’ve been having a HUGE art block recently and with so many distractions going on with my life I wanted to finally sit down and draw something that I’ve wanted to do for awhile, and that is just more Noxia Art in General. I love these guys, they are seriously WONDERFUL things to draw if a bit time consuming. Now, I brought this up on my Personal Tumblr but I’ll bring a little tid bit from here as well  The Noxia are HUGE creatures that in essence are closely related to Serpents and thus their movements would represent that. And the major things I LOOK at for their movement is giant snakes like Anaconda’s, Reticulated Pythons and even more recently after watching the Titanoboa Documentary, I look at that as well for body movements! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SI14qp4KvGo Seriously, look at how beautiful that thing moves in the water. Noxia are massive oriental dragons in essence, and their legs aren’t always used, and if they were given the length of their bodies their stride would be completely out of what, again, they wouldn’t normally walk or do anything but rather suspend themselves and float around much like the Oriental Dragons do (For a reference, the ending of Dragon Wars with the one Dragon as she is floating around and barely uses her legs). So here we have Aliah doing what he sometimes does, which is hanging from some of the thick stalagmite/stone bridges that are in the Caverns and then slowly hanging down to scope out what is going on. Aliah has a tendency to stretch his body or compress it however the heck he wants, and being what they are well Aliah can stretch or bend however he wants. Out of all the Noxia Aliah is certainly one of the… Stretchiest of them all in terms of length and such given that he IS one of the largest known next to Ailith and Ashendale. He is also one of the most serpentine of them all as well. Random Jeih and Aryian in because well, Aliah is just a fascinating creature and I guess the two are just there hanging around. Aryian is likely laying in wait to use Aliah as a giant bed so he can loaf about… and well Jeih is likely trolling Ary XD I might actually pull this into GIMP and actually try my hand at coloring and attempting to do a final product of this. I am just so gosh darn afraid of ruining it with my shitty coloring >< Locks belong to the ever wonderful BeastofOblivion
